Each year, Director Women Independent invites two women to share an idea or story powerful enough to shape how we lead, build and move the world forward. These are not acceptance speeches, they’re declarations, lessons and manifestos for the next era of leadership.
The Keynote Award honours women whose work and words capture the spirit of true direction: clarity, courage and contribution. Each selected leader delivers The Keynote – an address presented exclusively through DWI spotlighting ideas and stories that deserve the world’s attention.
We publish two Keynotes each year:
The Visionary Keynote
For a woman redefining what’s next, through innovation, leadership or thinking that challenges convention and moves women and industries forward.
The Legacy Keynote
For a woman whose journey, influence and impact reflect lasting leadership, building pathways, shaping systems and leaving a mark that endures.
Together, they form The Keynote Award: a curated moment for women who lead with intention and speak with purpose.
